TELLING A GREAT STORY.
Wednesdays: August 8, 15, 22, 28, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Live Ink Theatre artistic director Sinda Nichols will be a teaching a fun filled four week class on storytelling. Participants will write several stories on various themes, and explore through one on one coaching bringing the story to life as a live performance. Students will discover what makes a great story both in writing and telling. Topics such as vocal variety, physical and emotional expression and connecting with your audience will be examined. This is the perfect class for people both new to storytelling and for those with experience. Ms. Nichols is the 2017, Fernandina Beach Friends of the Library Storytelling Slam winner and loves helping people explore the acting process through storytelling.
The class is $60 and limited to 12 people.

Advanced Scene Study beginning May 2nd
This acting class will be geared towards the actor with prior experience and the ability to do multiple memorized scene work and/or monolouge work.
This 8 week class on Wednesday eves: 6:30 – 8:45, will be held in the upstairs of Story & Song Bookstore, located at 1430 Park Avenue in Fernandina Beach.
ACTING COACH: Sinda Nichols, (BA, Theatre Arts, University of Minnesota) acts, directs and teaches. Well known for two very different one woman shows, “The Belle of Amherst” and “The Lady With All The Answers”, Ms. Nichols is the founder of Live Ink Theatre and loves helping actors bring out their best work and most joy. Available for affordable and fun one on one coaching for both actors and business professionals.
